I think at this stage its mostly an engagement decision if less people are logging on to retail over the next few weeks they will likely push out the prepatch event.
From a core product point of view everything seems done, its just bug fixes and balance passes which will continue happening through prepatch into live.
If it came out next week its gonna be a crazy pre patch. So many bugs and changes currently needed to be looked at.

lol… We will see prepatch in November and launch sometime first week or two in December (best case) IMO
What if prepatch goes for 2 months though?
Blizzard would have announced the pre-patch a week ago if it was going live next week.

Man, taco bell is pretty good in my town. Their bean burritos are so damn good.

Pre-Patch is not ready to go live. Give it another month, tops, and that’s only if they really buckle down and focus on fixing the bugs and addressing various problems.
People always say Taco Bell gonna give you poopies but I have more trouble with the authentic Mexican food places. There’s this taco truck by me and it’s really good but phew

I mean… Welcome to WoW. Everyone has an opinion on everything. Rumors are just that. Rumors. Blizz has not given an official launch date for the patch, therefore NOBODY knows when it’s coming out.
People are just talking. They think they know things, but they don’t. Nobody knows any more information than you do. Not until Blizz tells us. It’s all just here-say at this point.

Whenever they announce the end of the pvp season, they normally give 2 weeks notice. We are at least 2 weeks away until they say something. Anything until you see that is a false rumor and/or misinformation.
