I think 100% of people would agree the expac should just launch Tuesday. I’m sure the anxiety cats are the only ones who disagree but who cares they do like heroic dungeons and world quests

I was in agreement with your title, until I read your post.
NOT funny. This is why the PvP community gets exiled.
The Pre-Patch Event was a fail in the sense that it did not provide the gear fast enough. We wanted the rewards quicker, not the new expansion quicker!
The downtime between expac’s is a much needed break from raiding (for people who raid every week)

There really shouldnt be any periods of dead time in a cyclical/seasonal MMO that we pay every month for, nevermind just 2 whole months where nothing really matters. You can’t just turn an MMO into a seasonal ARPG, and then shut the seasons down for like 10%+ of the time, and gaslight players into thinking everything they ever wanted is just a beta patch away.
TWW was the shortest xpac of all time, Midnight is basically just going to be a content patch, and yet they couldn’t throw in a fated season? Just shut it down?

You would be wrong, not about how terrible this prepatch is, but the fact it’s so bad and there are so many bugs etc…I’d rather them at least try to fix some of it before launch.

I think 99.5% of statistics people put forth on the internet have a solid 20% chance of being purely factual. I’m at least 23.11% sure of it.

Probably cuz their “testing” is releasing a beta/ptr so the players can test and then completely ignoring them
Expac launch will be terrible regardless this is an mmorpg after all. Drop the 10 pages of class tuning and release the game early

90% of these bugs wont be fixed btw. slicing winds has been bugged since day 1 of the ptr it came out in and is still bugged to this day

I love the pre patch. Been doing it daily, collecting those grey sets for transmog. A nice bit of downtime before the new expansion.
well 7 weeks.
season ended jan 27, expansion launches mar 2nd but season doesnt start till march 17th. 49 days

Complaint was “two whole months were nothing matters”.
Does the expansion launch not matter? Last I checked, you had to level characters and actually do things in the expansion launch to get ready for the season’s start.

I get why players are mad.
The entire launch has been a mess, addons gone, abilities pruned and so much change and so many bugs, no telling what is intended and what is broken right now.
quite literally yeah, 95% of the playerbase juices to max level as quick as possible to skip the horrors of retail leveling.
either way, let’s grant 5 weeks. that’s 2 months of played time paid for ~$30 where there’s nothing really happening. it’s afk sim.
right now you can do housing, or level/gear alts, or afk
it isn’t an abnormal time for a prepatch they’re always like 4-6 weeks. it’s just bogus how long it is, i want to play the game mannnnnnn

No, it’s a bit more than a month.
Class changes, system changes, prepatch event, catchup systems for people to get ready for the expansion.
Having a break between the last season of one expansion and the first season of another is not a bad thing. You could always just unsubscribe for that month if it really bothers you that much, but there’s plenty to do.

it’s more than 1 month of irl time. if you are a subscriber of the game, you can not purchase less than 1 month of playtime, you have purchased at a minimum of 2 months of playtime.
again, we want to play the game. there is no content right now apart from housing, and leveling/gearing alts (gear will be meaningless less than 1 month from now)
hopefully that clears it up for individuals of lesser
