They were talking about leveling so they are likely taking an alt through for the hidden transmog drops.
My favourite part of this event are the people who are reporting people AFK <3
I’ve been participating in most events while levelling alts (I have avoided tagging the bosses in my very garbage low item level gear but the other ones I have slowly killed mobs).
I go AFK in the sky above a single event to go sort out dinner.

Stop being happy spammy with the report button not everyone is leeching.
(Also you don’t want sh*t geared characters tagging bosses anyway unless you want to be there for 100 years).
For me personally, it’s just been meh, it is pretty boring how long it takes to down the mini bosses and the big boss, but I’ve been leveling alts in the 55-65 range to 70 so fast, it’s nice since I’ve been slacking on them. I love that you can funnel the currency to alts too, been doing that. I think the currency comes pretty quick too, I think at this point all I need is the plate armor for mogs, after that if I keep doing it to level alts, I’ll use the currency to toss some gear into the warbank for any future alts I might want to give it to, otherwise, not stressing it. It’s pretty annoying dying by a mini boss and standing there as a ghost while the timer ticks down, only for it to die and you get nothing, not even XP, probably the most annoying part of it for me personally.
I dislike any “be here at X time” events. But it looks to be the future of events. They made it better at least that the boss activates more times.
I dont believe that being afk for a world event qualifies as a reportable behaviour. If it did, hundreds (or potentially thousands) of people would have been punished by now for sitting on pillars during a Rift, along with any number of other open world activities. I mean, I’ve done the Siege by just walking in the door and waiting for the npc to be killed since my frequently miserly dps wasn’t needed. That’s my choice and has zero effect on anyone else.
