After Two Updates: Friendly to those of us with 50+ alts, for sane people it is a lil’ rough.
Pick One, or both, or all:
- The drop rate for currency on rare world bosses should be upgraded to 10 per.
- The Meta Quest should be repeatable.
- World Quests have to continually give currency and not turn into reso’ crystals when the meta quests are over.
The rotation takes 1.5 hours for ( 36-54 ) currency. A single item at the vendor is 20 accounts that are not alt-farming this has specifically diminished farming capactity because each character gets a drop bonus once per day.
Further Clarification: When you finish the world quest meta the World Quests no longer give 10 currency but instead give reso crystals until the WQs respawn 12 hours later.

dropping a single currency per rare on a limited time event seems counter productive and since its a great way to gear up alts, youd think that the cost per gear would be lower (the cost for the collectables is fine, they are collectables after all)

3 hours for 18 currency items is crazy. I got 1 item from all of the rares, it’s not even for my class.

It’ll probably be buffed, but damn is this such a massive boring grind snoozefest. I wouldn’t even still be logged in doing stuff if it wasn’t for needing to kill every rare for the achivement and not wanting to calculate when to login next to pickup where I left off (at least they aren’t random).

It’s ludicrous. Has to be a mistake. I saw that 1 currency drop from rares and thought someone forgot a zero, it should be at least 10.

I would vote for the event to be something fun that allows me to play the game longer than 10 minutes. Not this time gated slop.

I am not playing it. I have alts I wanted to level, but waiting around for mobs to spawn is not my idea of fun. I am going to keep an eye on it to see if they fix it.

Yea, this is a 3+ hour commitment every day for at least a week to get everything. Gear drops are slim pickings too. Sit around and wait for rares to spawn is not engaging content. And at least one of the wq’s is broken.

It isn’t a 3 hour per day thing. It’s a 10ish minute to do 4 world quests and then waiting around 40 minutes to do 4 rares to finish the weekly or wait until Friday when presumably 4 more world quests spawn to finish the weekly.
So like 1.5ish hours VERY spaced out between Tues and Friday evening and Friday evening to Monday night
