So looking at the end date of Pandaria Remix and the likely release of the TWW pre patch it seems that they’re probably going to overlap. What about players who want to use their Remix characters going into TWW? Kinda fudges them over doesn’t it? They’d want to use the Remix characters for the pre patch.
Or am I wrong, because I can’t find a definitive pre patch release date.

There will likely be a week of overlap. But that would still give a week of pre-patch only, which is plenty of time to “prepare” your characters for launch.
I quote prepare because honestly what is there to do? People always make such a big deal about getting ready for patches/expansions. 90% of what you do that week will be made irrelevant hours into TWW.

Mop remix ends on August 19th. Early access is on August 22nd. So quite a bit of overlap. Luckily, they are implementing war band systems so as long as you have one character out of remix you can get any gear into the war band bank and give it the remix character when they come out.

I wanted to make a Remix DH my Ally main on Turalyon so I really wanted to play her in the pre patch. I’ve seen a lot of others saying the same, their Remix character is going to be their main going into TWW so they wanted to use it in the pre patch.
I do kind of wish they would add an option when pre-patch comes out to move your Remix characters over. That would be ideal. And maybe they still can/will if they feel enough people want that?
I used Remix to level up one of everything I didn’t already have, and was honestly surprised to learn that I really loved Death Knight and Mage, two classes I never thought I’d even ever play. And I think I may end up maining one of those for TWW, so I personally would love to get them out early so I can experience playing them without all the crazy power they have in Remix.
But I suppose it’s not a huge deal. I’ll learn them as I level thru TWW anyway. So I won’t be upset if we can’t get them out early, but it would be nice if they did.

the main point of pre-patch is to get the warband quests done and the pre-patch events done.
As long as the prelaunch gear is Warbound, I’ll be fine with it.
This is a guess. You could also assume that the remix characters won’t have access to the warband system until they are actually out of remix status. We don’t know yet.
I thought something similar, I wish they had a way to migrate them out of remix early. Like I’m done with remix now let me play the character on retail.
Fortunately the Evoker starts at a decent level if we need a plan B.

TWW release isn’t going to overlap with remix. The pre-patch events anymore are 20 mins of questing and then a repeatable world event where you gain a currency to buy a recolor of the expansions leveling gear.
Your Remix character will be just fine.
The evoker is being changed to level 10 in tww. So, if you want a near max you may want to make it soon.

Curious how they’ll change flying since the Evoker needs it for their intro zone.

No idea, I’d guess one of those lift off pads. I guess we’ll just have to see.

They will probably have old soar until they unlock flying.

Dragonriding will be for lower levels. Because it’s part of the Dragon Isles, which is becoming the new player starting experience. So level 10+ will get dragonriding unlocked once those changes happen.

You have to do a big stretch.
And a yawn.
And a butt scratch.
Look around a bit.
That’s like four whole things! Thats a lot of stuff.
