It looks like blizz is going to be releasing pre nerf BT/Hyjal!!
With the intentions of nerfing them in Phase 3.5 with ZA launch. This is actually great news!

b) It’s only a few changes to Mother RNG, Archimonde cursing targets 300 yards away from him, Reliquary being unable to cast rune shield and spirit shock simultaneously. Illidan actually got buffed, the green phase 2 flames were added after Nihilum killed him in less than a day for world first in 2007.
Tier 6 was always a walkover, in reaction to the community finding tier 5 way too hard.

There weren’t really any nerfs for BT/Hyjal to begin with. P1 and P2 were the only real phases that were overtuned and needed nerfing.

Blizz didn’t even bother rolling back “nerfs” (more like small fixes) even last tbc, if anything they are not gonna roll those back this time for sure.

honestly they view the anni tbc raiding as a success with all the nerfs already.
no way they wont nerf this stuff too.
I hope they don’t nerf those raids, but knowing how hand holdy and simple minded these single brain cell modern day players are.
I wouldn’t put it being them to do it to please them.
They aren’t going to do anything more than the bare minimum like they have done for anniversary so far. The raid will be released in it’s final state as it was seen in TBC Classic. Which means no nerfs.
BT and Hyjal do not have a post nerf/pre nerf state during TBC.
We will get nerfs if/when we get wrath prepatch.

I’d see nerfed final tweak dropped.
The devs are:
working c+ in theory at same time
working to clean up crap before blizz con hits.
working the blizzcon,
Probably meeting hell after as post action crap has team aggrend in conference rooms not by workstations lol.
Dropping un nerfed then nerfed content with all this going on is probably the workload they’d avoid. And I’d understand that.
Since after the con, they are playing catch up from that. And then its report time. Quarterlies for calendar year , and annual report for fiscal .
raid balance issues or crap tons of reports. 2 of 3 of these would be aggrend’s focus. I’d fully understand why it be the quarterly calendar and the big fiscal annual.
Dear players…its not that Illidan does not matter. Its more he matters less than the reports lol. So yeah….you get nerfed illdan.
These raids were never nerfed during tbc aside from Mother’s fatal attraction, so players are getting un-nerfed Tier 6 aside from that.
She could do crushing blows, and could be Parry hasted, before nerfs.

Prenerf hyjal/bt is easier than post nerf t5 lol.
Current tier raids should have been pre nerf!

Pre-nerf tier 5 in original TBC was impossible to clear. Kael’Thas was never killed in his pre-nerf state. Vashj was killed by a select few and it was widely debated on the legitimatecy of those kills. Blizzard released TBC classic in a pre-nerf state because it was believed that modern solutions could solve old problems. They were right.
This however creates a different problem. It made following BiS to a T mandatory for raiding. Did you think it’d be fun to be a troll rogue alchemist? Well you picked the wrong race, spec, and professions. Get benched. Anyone delusional enough to argue that it’s possible to pick the wrong race/class/profs needs to call 911 as you’re experiencing a gas leak.
Pre-nerf raids did not recreate the “authentic intent of the original TBC” or whatever other nonsense you wanna come up with. It created an environment where embracing modern tech to trivialize old content was mandatory for engagement. Which is why players didn’t want it a second time. Not that this stops the delusional dads who struggle in retail LFR from coming here and acting like they’re the king of games because their Mage pressed 1 button for 45 seconds during Solarian with 3-4 dedicated innervates and got a high parse.
Black Temple doesn’t have a comparative pre-nerf / post-nerf because it was some minor adjustments and bug fixes.
