Why is everybody complaining about how it looks when the real problem is that you can’t pre-cast Lightning Bolt during pull timers anymore because it hits instantly?
Well as an Ele you precast lava burst before a fight. As enh you probably dont want to be precasting lb since that means you are not walking to the boss (and losing uptime). So, I guess you are talking about resto? If so, I do not think this is a huge deal.

The reference is to vanilla shaman where LB was actually a fuzzy white ball with a travel time like warlock CB or mage GPyro.

No he clearly wants you to cast lightning bolt not chain silly Raigor.
Also while its nice that travel time doesn’t exist on the cast anymore there was a certain joy in watching the ball chase after a fleeing target only to finally reach them and kill them.

I remember being in stranglethorn vale back in the day, and as i was hearthing back to undercity, something aggro’d onto me, as i was a little close to the alliance camp area. The hearth went through, though so i was like “eh whatever”
Well. I got back to UC, and about 10-15 minutes later i get hit with an arrow, seemingly out of the blue, that kills me. I would never be able to replicate that, ever again.

Even Resto can precast Lava Burst… For now at least. I’m still wrapping my head around the resto offensive changes. Are we losing Lightning bolt and chain lightning or something?
The problem is on retail.
