Pre-BC event 2 weeks prior to Launch

It’ll be the same as back in the day right? Highlord Kruul raiding all of the cities , killing everyone and everything.

Getting our BC talents a patch prior to launch like we did back in the day?

Just wondering if they aim to recreate the pre launch experience as it was very important to many people and created some of that magic that people still remember to this day.

The leaks seem to lean that way. The most recent leak says prepatch mid april. I assume we will find out at blizzconline.

That’s roughly what I expected too

wow pre patch is mid april! holy cow. Well if that’s true i’m psyched.

Well it’s not confirmed. It’s just what the leaks say. The leaks were right about naxx release though. That’s why we expect to hear at blizzconline.

It’s so awkward that they refuse to inform us until Blizzcon when supposedly TBC will be here in May - if these leaks are to be believed. It’s one thing delaying Blizzcon all the way until late Feb. but to use that as an excuse to withhold this announcement is ridiculous.

If it really is in May, that is less than 3 months notice. We should have more advanced notice than that imo.

What does it matter? 3 months is a huge amount of time to prep for any official announcement regarding TBC.

Till then, keep killing KT and pray for weapon drops!

really though this whole having to get all these world buffs every week then stay logged out to keep their timers from ticking down is dumb

Amen to that

Two weeks? The TBC pre-patch was like a month and a half before TBC launched.

Not to mention some of us have been prepping for TBC for months already. It’s not like there’s anything better to do with classic gold atm, either TBC is coming and you should be prepping, or TBC isn’t coming (or is entirely separate from vanilla) and your gold in vanilla-classic doesn’t matter.

You’d be shocked at some of the fairly ludicrous things people are doing for pally-leveling prep, for example, among BE-Pally rerolls… I’ve already got 4 characters already filled with profession mats, enchanted leveling weapons, enchanted leveling armor (even going as far as grabbing librams and saph enchants for it), enough consumables to pop mana potions on cd while fully buffed the entire leveling journey, food buffs, scrolls, etc. Currently working on leveling a mage to 40 just so it can portal my paladin when it needs to visit a class trainer, for example… and I’m far from the most crazy of the people I’ve talked to. One of them even was going to multibox (before that got nerfed) a party of hunters so that their pets could kill for his paladin after it tagged a mob and boost him that way.

Was it? MY mind is shot then. Last time I played that was 2006.

Kinda glad I didn’t play any pserver of TBC , it’s all gona be fresh for me when it does release.

Hopefully it the same. That was alot of fun.

I’m the same except with shaman lol. I’m going to boost it with my mage though. When it’s level 10 I’ll run it to deadmines where my mage will be waiting.

Yeah, having two accounts makes things much easier… Even just running your initial items /bags to your new character. You may want to watch out if you’re planning on just boosting, however, most aoes will be aoe capped in bc. I’ve heard it’ll still be possible with flame strike (the nuke being capped, the ground effect not) and r1 blizzard for the snare.

One of the nice things about paladin is that it can self boost, at least some of the time =)

Zf 42-52 self boosting is possible as the main source of damage (consecration) will remain uncapped. Doesn’t seem like much, but it’ll literally shave a full day /played off the 1-60 push.

They’re not leaks. They are lies made up to be leaks from people that didn’t get any information from Blizzard. They were posted on forums without any source information. Therefore they are not leaks. The lie told in December initially indicated that in January there would be an announcement but there hasn’t been.

Mark my words The Burning Crusade will not be launching in May. It hasn’t even been announced yet. It will be announced more than likely during the virtual Blizzcon event. That’s when they’ll be working on it and may have already begun. But May is far too soon. It will more than likely be September 2021 to January 2022 for a release.

Please read above. These are not leaks. They are lies made up from trolls that want you to believe TBC will be sooner. You’re complaining about 3 months notice based on a lie. Think about it, since when has Blizzard ever had a release date for something that isn’t even in beta? ANSWER: SINCE NEVER! They have always stated it’s done when it’s done and don’t go by a release date until the code is polished.

You’re crazy if you believe that.

Work on TBC began the moment Classic launched and they realized how popular these Classic servers would truly be.

A few people keep mentioning how they’ve never done an announcement then release in such little time while forgetting everything else that revolves around Classic servers the biggest being this isn’t brand new content they have to create with 90% of the work already done for them.

I find it funny you call the leaks lies then proceed to act like you know when tbc is launching with no evidence yourself. You’re gonna look real dumb at blizzconline. The leaks were spot on for naxx launch so I choose to believe them for tbc.

I have watched every video and read every guide probably 10 times and I’ve played tbc pservers.
