Power leveling pets

If you are like me and you are curious on how to power level your battle pets, I do recommend the you tube videos as a good basis for the how to. “BEWARE though” After learning the how to from you tube, I tried my hand at it. While yes it’s much faster than leveling them through battling other pets in the same level range, I am once again humbled by my non elitist talent in the game. Once again, if it looks too good to be true on you tube, 99% of the time it is just that, for me anyway. A casual knock around player, I find you tube most informative, but there always seems to be a hidden knowledge if you may, that prevents myself from having the same results as the micro managing subscriber. So if you want to power level your battle pets from level one to the high teens in a couple hours or during a movie being played in the background, then the you tube videos can help, but do not expect the same results in so few battles and in such short time. Getting my 2 hour daily fix of WoW, I was able to get my daughters pet from 1 to 17 all while watching and listening to Jurassic World. This is not a rant, just an observation that I thought some other casual subscribers would like to read about.

I don’t have much to contribute, but I hope your daughter ends up enjoying pet battles.

A lot of it can come down to having to sit down and do some research. I don’t think it is very user friendly once it gets into to the realm of efficiency (levels per time) and stability. At that point, you need to be able to start understanding breeds and stats and battle mechanics. I’m guessing a lot of the youtube videos you have found start to dip into these realms, so the hidden knowledge you are missing is just the basics about breeds/stats/mechanics and how they impact a battle. The knowledge isn’t truly hidden. The warcraft pets site has a decent guide on breeds and stats. I have a guide there on the calculations for pet experience as well. At that point it is mechanics, and yes there seems to be a deficit there in terms of guides. At this point we just have to ask questions to find things out from those who know. If you are just interested in getting the levelling done and not so much about efficiency, then https: //www. wow-petguide. com/ (take out the spaces) has a great list of teams for almost all situations. It’s a great resource for teams and strategies. It’s also more detailed than most youtube guides are.

Note: when I refer to battle mechanics, I’m not referring to the basics like flyers beat aquatics or elementals are immune to weather effects but things more like speed breakpoints, how buffs stack/cancel each other, etc.

What level is your daughter’s character?

If she can get a level 3 Draenor garrison, she can get a stone from opening her menagerie which will level any one of her pets to 25. If she levels a Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling she can use that to carry any 2 other pets to level them against Ashlei, the easiest Draenor pet tamer.

Best way to power level pets that I know of are 1) Sir Galveston in Dalaran 2) Rydyr Beasts of Burden World Quest in Stormhiem 3) Super Squirt in your garrison. All three during pet battle bonus week. Choose which you want to level at, wear your safari hat, use ur pet treats, and get the strategy from Xu-Fu Pet Battling Strategies. If you really want it to be mindless and easy, get rematch for autoloading teams with auto queued leveling pets and set up the TD scripts. Then watch a movie spamming one button and level 30+ pets per hour from 1-25.

These are great ways to level more pets.
However they are not really useful when it comes to leveling your first pets.

The easiest way to do your first pets is either the level 3 garrison or 60 polished pet charms to get your level 25 stone. If you don’t want to wait for world quests, I think you can get 60 by doing all the chests (drustvar, stormsong, tiriguard sound, voldun, and zuldazar) and the two elites (stormsong and drustvar). That doesn’t count Jani’s pile or the two alliance only quests though. See the wowhead “contained in” and “dropped by” tabs for the polished pet charms page for more info.

Don’t forget Landcruiser was talking about leveling his daughter’s pets, and we do not know her level.

And he can’t use his stones on her pets to 25 or she won’t be able to relearn them.

That’s true, but since we do not know I think it is safer to list as many options as possible. Especially since we do not know if they are letting their daughter make a character on their account (which is allowed I believe?).

Something to consider when family or friends share the same Battle . net account, makes them look like same person for daily & weekly lockouts and pet battlers. Two WoW accounts tied to same BattleNet account cannot both be doing pet battles at same time, and first one to do a daily or weekly pet activity locks out the other.

Understandable, I guess, prevents one person from opening a second WoW account so he can win trade with hisself.
