Power Leveling Lowbies

Hey there,
I am thinking of running level 40 and below content to power level lower players. Can I get some suggestions on the best way to do this.

I remember WowHobbs running SM Cath but I think that was only for like level 34 to 46 players. Should I just do level appropriate dungeons? Is raids in dungeons still good if its a higher level one shotting everything? Can players get exp from any level above them? Should I just do human camps in the real world, like where mages go?

Thank you

If you one-shot things, they get less experience if I recall correctly, and if you’re way too high that it doesn’t grant you experience, I think it might affect the experience they received. (Don’t quote me on this)

What I was doing (as a level 10 helping a level 1) was simply “tanking” mobs while they killed them. The more damage I did, the less experience they received, but when the threat of dying is reduced, they can spend more time just focusing on killing the things.

Tried the “They tag, I kill” method, but seemed less efficient, but grabbing aggro with the body and using no-damage taunts meant they got more experience.

Interesting. I should run some tests of my own then.

Grinding dungeons was the way to go. I think you can go into stockades at level 15. You can pull the whole place in three pulls. Then you can go into SM and move onto ZF.

Group up and just AOE the whole thing down in 5 or 10 minutes. Run out and repeat. You get much less experience but you are able to kill at a much faster rate so it pays off. Of course, not every class has aoe skills like they do in retail so not every class can pull this off - at least not at maximum speed.

Plus, you get a ton of loot from killing all of the stuff.

This is pretty much what I did in Vanilla when I was running three accounts. It’s fast and works well.
