Lone wolf has been pure horde since the start of phase 4 and it never recovered, specially because alliance players are scared to fight back lol. Some people can’t be more lame I swear.

I find that hard to belive seeing Org as empty as it is routinely and having to dodge legions of swarming alliance players at the gates to BRM every time i need to get in.
I cannot remember the last time i saw a Horde group in BRM that was there for PvP. Its been even longer since i saw one there for PvP that wasnt outnumbered 5:1 or worse. Given the way people are nowadays im getting tempted to make the jump to PvE. Nothing is ever a 1v1 anymore. Its always getting found by a gank squad of 5 or more that ALWAYS breaks and runs the moment theyre met with anything close to equal #s.
Ive legitimately seen a group of 10 Alliance - all 60s, complete with dedicated healers - just roaming around Hillsbrad fields going after 20 somethings on Lonewolf. See it on Era too so it isnt even just an SoD thing.
You catch a guy by himself and its like 3-30 of his friends spawn in as soon as hes low health and now youre camped for 30 minutes.
same living flame is horrible as well. been heavily ally favored by like 70:30 since p5 launch. cant wait for megaservers. gonna feel really bad for ally on the pvp mega coming lol ig theyre gonna feel what the other side feels like

According to Ironforge.pro Lone Wolf is the most populated pure PvP realm ahead of even Living Flame, and actually has better faction balance than Crusader Strike.
The problem with if.pro is that you only count if you show up on a raid log. Not every raid logs and not everyone raids. It makes it a flawed metric by which to judge much beyond how many people are posting logs.
Its fantastic for getting that but its usefulness beyond that is effectively nil.
Sure, but raiders are by and large the most active players on a server, and always a good sample size for a server’s population and growth.
Is everyone on Lone Wolf raiding? No of course not. But for the purpose of polling, Lone Wolf’s population of raiders is a great way to discern how its population is doing overall.
In this case, there are 4138 alliance raiders and 4155 horde raiders on Lone Wolf.
Those 4k raiders on both factions wouldn’t be able to exist without thousands and thousands of non-raiders also doing stuff… on both factions.
So it’s kind of hard to believe Lone Wolf is apparently this empty barren wasteland, or heavily one faction or the other.
I agree, i just felt the need to play devils advocate by pointing out theres a sizeable chunk of the populace thats gonna slip through the cracks in what if.pro tracks.
Lone wolf is actually a very populated and balanced pvp server that occasionally flops one way or another. CS horde are in for a treat with the absolute hitter squads of alliance that will kill you for fun while you do dailies.
It’s a “good” daily day on Lone Wolf when you can actually get your dailies at TP without 2-3 deaths from Horde carpet bombing the NPCs with traps. God help you if you need to get into BRS during the event.
Personal favorite is landing at LHC and getting opened on by 3 rogues and a handful of spriests. All undead, of course.

That’s because we ONLY log on to raid or do dailies. Outside of raid hours it’s pretty dead imo. It’s very difficult to find a group for any dungeon, including ubrs, strat, scholo, etc. I’d argue it takes longer to form a group for a dungeon than it does to actually run the dungeon itself and if you’re looking to form for a dungeon below level 50 on an alt it’s actually impossible.
this will be remedied with the mega server.
there will be alliance layers and horde layers and never the twain will meet.
