This might be what the Bottomless Noggenfogger was really about; seeing if they could take an existing ‘old item’ and use it to “make” a new version of it that had a higher stack count.

But, realistically, it’d just be easier to make a new round of bags that have a higher slot count.
…Retail is up to 36-slot bags. 
You mean like potion injectors? Something of an obvious option for them to implement for consumables? Yea, that’d take some ability to recognize the obvious or willingness to engage in discussions with actual players of the game, not bots on Twitter.
I don’t know if the Injector script handles multiple ‘fuel’ items.
If I remember, there was a Healing AND a Mana injector that Engineers could make to then combine with the Runic Health/Mana pots.
So…it looks like there’d need to be an injector for each elixir, flask, and potion. - That’s a lot of extra items.
But, also, this was all done with Wrath’s code base. The Bottomless Noggen was done with Vanilla’s, which never supported that. Even with the Retail client running in a psuedo-compatibility mode for Vanilla, it might be difficult.
…remember people bought the 1000 charge Bottomless, and upon logging back in was finding they’d lost several hundred charges. Clearly the code has some limit issues that they addressed by just reducing the charge count to 200 and letting it stack to 8.
This is actually a good solution to the million sets of gear/bag space problem instead of the ridiculous bag sizes in retail.
Have chrono-boons stack to 20 while we are at it too. No reason that needs to only go to 5.

I’m the mean time. Instant mail does wonders for consumes. Make a bank alt or two. They will be your stache tabs.
Yes, raid consumables are definitely an issue of bag space. I feel sorry for the master looters in our AQ raids having to hold a bunch of scarabs and idols as well.
Rogue Poisons are another issue as well for tank rogues as they eat space. Combine that with Vanish Powders, Blind Powders, Thistle Teas, the new Draughts, alternate sets of gear for encounters, and you have one hell of a bag space issue.
Was also really surprised there wasn’t a new bag recipe with Qiraji Silk.
Have you considered putting your NR gear in the bank during MC/BWL?
Possibly put your FR gear in the bank during ZG/AQ?
Outside of raiding, put both FR & NR gear in the bank?
If not PvPing, possibly put PvP gear in the bank?

yeah they arent smart enough to make quality of life changes, instead they use their egos to try and make something “cool” like hard modes to stroke their egos as players leave their game in droves…

Yes, I more or less do all the things you asked, but then that just created the problem of eating up valuable bank space. Also sold off my .5 Gear, among other items not being used, such as Core Hound Tooth for that matter

Main spec gear you wear. Alt spec gear you keep in bag. Fire res you can keep in bank till you run MC. Nature res you can keep in bag. PVP gear is for pvp so bank it. Old sentimental gear is a bank. Random quest items ? do the random quests lol Random trade skill mats ? why keep them on main and not on a bank alt ? Potions potions potions you don’t need 1000 of them for any content… please consider investing in bigger bags and running ony each week if you cant afford them <3 Appreciate the feedback though!
