I used an Weak Troll’s blood potion and the cooldown wouldn’t go down, it was stuck at 3 seconds remaining. Relogging did the job but it was still annoying.
Are you sure it wasn’t an addon bugging out?
Try reloading your UI next time to see if that helps. ("/reload ui")
Don’t know. It happened only once, but it seemed to be the cooldown itself. I’ll try the command if it happens again, thanks!
I just had this happen with a LIP. Using LIP put all my potions on a 2m CD that never began ticking down.
3 minutes later I press LIP and it still does not work (so it’s not just a UI error). I then try a Major Healing potion, still does not work.
Nothing notable… I was in combat when it happened that’s about it. Combat had been long dropped, many actions done, the cooldown never began ticking.
Not sure if it’s the first time and an ultra rare bug, but it’s the first time I’ve noticed.

I had it happen on my warrior the other night I noticed I randomly was placed into combat when I drank my troll regeneration potion placing it on a 2m CD. The timer didn’t go down but after 2 minutes I was luckily able to drink another potion.

proof of the bug occurring. You can see after I LIP, my CDs are stuck at 2 minute CDs until I relog @ 8:52. Then, the potions go from 2 minutes straight to no cooldown and ready to use. /reloadui does not fix this. Attempting to use the potions even after 2 minutes does not work–it is not just visual.
Happens to me about 1 in 4 times I use a potion. Incredibly infuriating.
