WoW head says that the Potion of Luck is the new Potion of Treasure hunting for Mists of Panderia.

I made the potions, but I cannot consume them, and they say “Not very lucky at all”

Is this one of Blizzard’s funny “haha we made you waste your gold jokes?”

no, it’s just one of many items which turned into vendor trash.
