Can someone explain how this potion even works?
It says it increases the chance of detecting invisible or stealthed enemies. What does that actually mean?
From my understanding invisibility is something you either see through or you don’t. Where stealth you see only in a small radius around yourself.
So how does it “increase the chance” of detecting them?
Theres several levels of stealth in the game ranging from I think it was 1 - 5, a lot of talents used to change it from 1 and make it higher. Currently if your behind your target you are 5 and if your in front of your target you are 3.
After that it factors in how far away you are and the level difference between the two, then it factors in any stealth buffs (some classic items increase it) and then any stealth nerfs from other people (your pot).
The detect invis pretty much makes it that you can see any non feral/rogue from the front at max range at the same level.
Oh I didn’t know that. I figured it just made your “detect stealth” circle around yourself slightly bigger.

If they are behind you they pretty much do nothing for any rogue spec or feral spec due to increase stealth level, however infront you should be able to see everything else at max range (15 yards) and also see ferals/rogues are slightly less (4-8 yards) however still pretty useless without catseye goggles or something else adding ontop of it.
