In order to craft a rank 3 Algari Healing Potion without concentration, an alchemist needs all rank 3 mats (the vial alone costing more than the potion sells for), has to have spent 120 knowledge points, and needs all 3 pieces of superior quality alchemy equipment. That’s just for a health potion. Another 40 knowledge points need to be spent for a mana potion, 80 for battle potions. That seems a bit excessive.
I haven’t had the alchemist’s rod crafted yet, so I am 8 skill points shy of crafting rank 3 health pots. It costs me 144 concentration to fill that 8 point gap. For a tempered potion the gap is 96 points, but costs only 153 concentration. That seems a bit off.
