Potential new pvp trinkets in 9.2?

These are only the items effects, click on links for the trinkets. Its Cosmic Glad items so yeah.

  • Gladiator’s Devouring Malediction (New) Drain up to 0 absorption from all nearby enemies over 3 sec, then unleash it in a 15 yd cone in front of you as healing absorption. 3 sec cast (Channeled). 2 min cooldown.
  • Gladiator’s Eternal Aegis (New) Activate the defenses, absorbing 50% of all damage taken, up to 0, persisting for 60 sec. Cosmic damage is fully absorbed. Instant. 2 min cooldown.
  • Gladiator’s Resonator (New) Throw the cosmic resonator which explodes after 4 sec, dealing 0 Cosmic damage split between all nearby enemies. Damage is increased for each enemy struck, up to 5 enemies. 30 yd range. Instant. 3 min cooldown.

There seems to be a new effect while using 2 pvp trinkets too.

(2) Set : Increases your pri by 0 and Stamina by 0 when in Arenas, Battlegrounds, and War Mode.

So does this mean we can malediction the 90k dark pact and apply a 90k healing absorb in aoe in front of you?

Good job blizz. Instead of balancing classes you just throw in a ton of stupidly powerful trinkets so class doesn’t even matter lol.

ima be honest. ima just use badge and call it a day. idk why they keep trying to reinvent the wheel with these trinkets. U wanna do trinkets people will like? Just give us the option for stat stick, proc, or on use trinkets. boom im cool with that. For the tier sets take away stats from them so people have the option to have higher stats or a stupid power. Plz blizz

I like it. It gets boring getting the same on use/proc stat/hp increase trinkets over and over.

With the way some people complain about damage you would think they would be happy with that new defensive/damage reduction trinket.

Why?

Can you elaborate, because I want the tier sets to feel powerful, especially in PvP situations!

The second trinket bonus seems like it might be intended to help address gear disparity in PvP.

If everyone gets the same bonus to primary stat and stamina by wearing 2 pvp trinkets, regardless of their ilvl, then it helps counteract gear disparity by giving everyone the same substantial boost to throughput and health regardless of their overall ilvl which reduces the overall percentage disparity between different ilvl geared players.

I think it’s more to counteract versatility providing a smaller benefit as we go further up above diminishing returns so as to not have PvE gear end up outscaling PvP gear.

Diminishing returns have a very minor impact overall.

I think it’s to counteract gear disparity in PvP.
