Been a incredibly boring addition in my opinion.
At least they’re more interesting than dumb Earthen. I would play one.

These look like they’re already fit to be an allied race unlike whatever the bipedal nerubians are called, so I’ll take it. If they’re playable on both factions, maybe people will no longer deem the expansion a failure just because earthen exist, and then I can joke that Blizzard couldn’t wait until Midnight to make another elven race playable.

The armor reminds me of Sylvari cultural gear from GW2. I like their look
They need to abandon allied races already. Another dwarf was honestly the most disappointing announcement of the xpac. Just make it an earnable cosmetic for existing dwarfs.
It is just one more racial to poorly balance for negligible cosmetic difference. So far the only “worthy” allied race is the Vulpera. Maybe void-elfs if only to give Alliance players that model. The rest of them should only exist as cosmetics.
I really dont know what to say in response to this and I like to argue.
Certainly an unexpected addition. Half-troll/Half-Elves is a cool idea, but without knowing more about how they fit into the world it’s hard to judge them.
I do wish we could get our humanoid Nerubians, though. As unlikely as they are.

The fact that they brought allied races back and that earthen are an allied race at all indicates they have no plans to completely scrap the concept any time soon.
They’re not existing dwarves. They’re a fully fleshed-out race of proto-dwarves with their own models and aesthetics and available to both factions, not vanilla dwarves with tattoos thrown on who are also only loyal to the Alliance and were rightfully turned into cosmetics (Wildhammers). They even have racials that reflect their status as Titan constructs, including their lack of a need to eat normal food.
Not quite cool enough to me to really want to play one but would maybe try them out if they became a playable race. At least they are not dwarves again. I do like their faces and it’s nice seeing a more realistic version of the nelf model and a little thiccness.
The dudes still look funny though with that godawful neck hunch and the huge hands. I really hope someday the playable races/humanoid base models got an anatomy adjustment. These guys are better than many but they are still very flawed.
Ngl i quite like them. Not the question is, why blizzard didnt announce them as allied race isntead of the terran? Terran look so god damm bad is not even funny.

Just saw this article on Wowhead, ngl, I’m super happy I am not at max characters on my account, these are just perfect! I really hope they do become a playable race, it’s a race I didn’t know I wanted until just now.
Only other race I have wanted to be playable is Blood Trolls.
Obviously I’d have to experience them in game before doing anything but these, these I would pay for race changes.
Hopefully we get another BfA with a few new Allied Races.
