After seeing a lot of the youtubers talking about a potential Light vs Void expansion, I can honestly say I got excited. I love Babylon 5 and think that storyline (though very tired) is still a great storyline. I would love to see that as an overall theme for WoW going forward.
However, if its going to be the standard anti-trope trope where the Light is authoritarian and the void is just misunderstood freedom seekers, that is just as tired as the Light being good and darkness being bad. The only thing worse would be if you try to save Sylvanas with redemption arc.
I know there was a supposed leak where it said you think you can save Sylvanas, but were worried about Golden’s Void lords story. IMHO, you can’t save Sylvanas. Golden’s story can be a huge winner for me as long as it isn’t what you did with Yrel. Yrel’s story was almost as much of an atrocity as Vol’Jin’s; everyone I know hated it almost as much. I don’t know anyone who loves what you did with Yrel, and no one actually hates her as a villain to justify trying to make her a hated character. Please just don’t do it.

I’m surprised to see someone who wants a morally grey spin on the Light and the Void but still hates what BFA did to Yrel. I know a lot of people hated it, but personally I like the new Yrel.

I believe that as Horde, we may be unintentionally harboring the Enemy of All(Undeath)
Ehm nope ; sylvanas doesnt care the horde at all ; horde is just fresh meat for death and everyone knows that at this point.

That’s exactly my point. The Living are her enemy.
The Horde does have blood elves who do have access to the sunwell as representatives of the light.
For the void, however, is a tricky matter. We don’t have a void race while the alliance does. I guess the forsaken shadow priests would be considered voidy?
I didn’t want a morally grey spin on Light and Void. I want Light (Good) vs Void (evil). It may be old but it works. I am tired of seeing:
Good light following character introduced
Evil looking void character introduced.
Puppy harming introduced by Evil character.
Good character says ill stop it (queue evil sounding music)
Good character slowly shown to be more evil than the evil character.
Evil character stops good character and you find out the puppies were evil too and had to be stopped to save everything.
Its been so long since there was a simple good vs evil story, it would be refreshing as it has been a very long time since anyone really did it.
