I was an enchanter in vanilla wow, I remember before BC came out I was able to link my profession in trade so people could see what enchants I had available so they could go through a list of what I was able to offer. As far as I know this is still not available atm, but I am sure 100% this was available in vanilla. In BC is when they put the scribing and ability to post in the AH.
Yeah, not sure what you’re on about but that WAS NOT a thing in vanilla.
Inscription was Wrath, and if memory serves, so was linking professions in chat.
Linking your profession in trade like an item so when someone clicked it they can see what your offering.
The best thing you can do in Trade chat is type /leave 2.
Shift-click doesn’t work in trade chat to display the enchant in a manner that you can click on it and see the mats? It works in whispers.
it use to be you would shift click your profession in trade chat. That would make it available for people to see what your offering.
Not in vanilla. That wasn’t added until Wrath. In TBC you could link an individual item. So an enchanter could link mongoose and you could click on it to see the mats.
reason I know it was before BC is I switched mains and played a Herb Alch for BC. Did the same thing for Wrath, but that’s another story.
I appreciate that you think you’re recalling the correct information. But you 100% could not link professions in Vanilla in trade.
That’s why there was an addon you could use to spam what rare enchants you had.
Wasn’t a thing in Vanilla, sorry
