Wonderful. Now if they can just let Dracthyr also use their wings as a flying mount regularly. >.>
Right, I know they want Dragonriding to be a major feature, but Drac should have natural flight without needing a mount.
Honestly? This appeases me.
itâs definitely a nice compromise for now, but Iâm going to keep pushing for removing the cooldown completely. Why have wings if you canât rely on them?
One minute is pretty inconsequential. Itâs in a better state now than when it was first introduced. We can always ask for more, sure, but sometimes, itâs worth just both taking and giving a win.
Only in the Dragon Isles though. It doesnât apply to other world spaces.
I donât know., Doesnât feel like a win to me.
yeah, after reading it more closely, it really isnât as good as I thought⊠It brings us up do DR speed and with a much reduced cooldown, but thereâs still serious downsides to using it over a DR mount.
I genuinely donât get why itâs such a big deal to let Drakthyr âdragonrideâ as themselves. Itâs literally the same situation as a Worgen using Running Wild and Druids using Flight Form. Itâs (almost?) purely cosmetic.
The ONLY thing I could see being an advantage over regular DR is having a smaller hitbox for collision with the terrain, and the only place thatâs ever going to matter in a competitive/completion sense is maybe a dragon race or two.
Thats kinda my thought too.
though I think Iâd be most content if they just let Dracthyr use the wings as a flying mount in other world zones. The Dragonriding is neat but its probably just going to be a gimick for DF and I donât feel thats a good place for a âracialâ flight concept.
NICE dragonborn
I do wish Drakonids were added.
which boots are those?
Initiate Necromancerâs boots
From the Maldraxxus cosmetic armor they introduced in 9.1. Canât remember which version, though.
I got into the beta over the weekend and have spent the past three days just experimenting with customizing a Dracthyr. I finally got what I feel is the perfect set-up between Dracthyr form and human form, and wanted to share the pictures, but Iâm not trusted enough, doh!
I count 65 different customization options between the Dracthyr and human forms. 41 for the Dracthyr form and 24 for the human form. Thatâs minus the Body Type, though. I used Body Type 1, so there may be more or less customization options for Body Type 2. I wrote mine down to help me remember.
Wow some of you guys presented the race better than Blizzard
I think Iâve settled on an Infinite Flight inspired Dracthyr!
Meet Jeremyth the Timelord:
Something about the whole âbrooding bad boyâ turning a new leaf to do good really appeals to me.
Not to my tastes, but I do have to admit that this is the first one Iâve seen that looks legitimately cohesive in both forms, including the transmog.
