Post PoF changes, when to use FwF and F-Scythe

Assuming the use of Obliteration, when do you guys think will be best to use the high damage abilities like Frostwyrm’s Fury and Frost Scythe?
Do we send it inside pillar and lose out on extra KM procs or send it during Enduring Strength after Pillar?
Basically do you think having 10% extra STR but losing out on 1 to 2 KM procs will be worth it.

Without ramp it will purely be dictated by target count when Pillar is up + maybe waiting for rotfc procs if not already up.

With FWF and Scythe, you’ll now always want them to be used at the start of Pillar when the targets are in place and to get them on CD asap.

Yes. A KM proc hitting 4 targets is a bit over 900k with current numbers. Scythe hitting 4 targets is a bit over 1mil. FWF hitting 4 targets is something like 1.2mil~. If the target count is < 3 then Scythe falls out of favor due to AA so you’d probably want to use it on CD before Pillar (for the CDR). But FWF is now always at the start of Pillar.

This is about what I figured but want feedback from people who had done more testing than my self. (Been busy with Elden Ring.)

I wonder if it may be best for Obliteration to receive a change like what FF14 did for Dark knight a while back where instead of trying to generate as many procs as possible in their CD it instead gives them a number of free charges.

In terms of Frost DK I mean obliteration would make the next 5 uses of Frost Strike or Rime generate KM with the buff lasting 20 to 30 seconds. That way it wouldn’t feel like a “waste” to use abilities that don’t generate or spend KM inside pillar because worst case scenario you use the procs post pillar.

It would be more simple if Frost Scythe proced a KM with Obliteration during POF
