Realize that there are quite a few of us that have played since the beginning and have watched the decline of the game. A tweak here, a nerf there, and a convenience now.
If your change is allowed; which is the next. The next person is going to want their change and citing that yours went in.
Also, have you watched for forums and watch the “cry” to do something and then have Blizzard react. And then have watched a “cry” because the change had an unexpected affect.

I like that each player has a set-in-stone look that I can recognize. I didn’t love the choices I made on my main in vanilla but hey, that was me. Even to the extent that I have replicated those choices now in classic even though I prefer other ones.

I’m starting to wonder if any of you that are against this even realize how many changes have been made to this game already. Changes that actually have a sweeping affect on the way it plays. Do you even realize the luxury of having more regen? That poisons and diseases don’t last even 1/4 of the length that they used to? Visual and stat changes on items like Krol Blade? This is not vanilla, it is classic, and it has already changed for better or worse. That most of you are still playing is a testament to that, because I highly doubt a vast majority of classic players would still be here if it really was a 100% recreation.
