I would like to start a movement for the Acherus Deathcharger mount to be updated to a more modern appearance. Paladins got a nice update for their chargers, warlocks did as well. Meanwhile us DKS kinda got pooped on.
The Acherus Deathcharger is still one of my favorite mounts to use even today since I started in late game Catacylsm. To see it re-birthed into a newer age with an updated model would be amazing.
If they buffed the dragon from Legion too I wouldn’t complain.
Paladin and Lock didn’t get their mounts updated. You’re talking about the Legion mount which are different mounts.

we have enough flying horses, living and otherwise (22 actually, not counting the legion class mounts or any horse that does not fly).

I prefer Rivendare Mount over charger. Has a better death knight feel.
Me, looking at my vanilla model Charger. Yeah, that hasn’t been updated. Just like everyone else, we did get more mounts, but our Charger (and Warhorse) which are the parallels to the Acherus Deathcharger have not been touched.
Then again, aside from Humans & Blood Elves, every other Paladin race has had updates and completely new mounts made for them. Perhaps we can get updated Human, Blood Elf, and Death Knight non-class hall class mounts in the future, maybe even at the same time.
Deathcharger is literally cooler than the other class mounts combined. Don’t ruin an already perfect mount pls

I’d rather they not mess with it. I like the way it looks. Maybe make an alternate mount. Sometimes their updates to things don’t turn out too well - character models come to mind.
Paladin and Warlock DID NOT get their mounts updated , you may be referring to the class hall mounts from legion but those are completely different same as the dragon mount DK’s got.
Actually human and belf paladins are still running on that low poly, crapsteed, so maybe remember them.
But yes, I also would like to see the death charger updated. But not just. I don’t know how many of you remember the original death charger that got introduced in Wrath? Yeah, it had a different animation, it looked cool before they decided to switch it to the lame-camel-horse animation. I want that old animation back.
I always thought that the horse was cooler than the dragon. When we got a dragon in Legion I was like… “Yay…the crowd goes mild.”
