I’ve been thinking of possibly transferring here, as I’m looking to get into RP and ive heard that this server has a good community. Any suggestions?

I suggest that you roll an alt here (or two alts, unless you’re planning to play only one faction), and spend some time walking around main RP hubs at various times of day. Observe the activity level and general atmosphere, and see if you spot any guilds that interest you. It’s free, and will give you a chance to see things for yourself before you pay to transfer.

On Alliance, most non-organized RP happens in Stormwind, especially the taverns in Mage Quarter and Old Town; on Horde, it can be found in most areas of Silvermoon City, but especially in the Royal Exchange, and also in the Valley of Honor around the Wyvern’s Tail in Orgrimmar.

I second creating a couple alts. There is RP that happens here, yes. Why not try before you buy? :man_shrugging:t2:

True, I just wasn’t sure if it was a common thing for someone to be shown the ropes in rp or not.

There’s definitely people willing to do so. Also Ravencrest was my roommate’s old server :smiley:

Absolutely. And especially if you put a note in your profile info mentioning that you’re new to RP, I think you’ll find a fair number of people who are happy to answer questions and give you some practice opportunities.

There are a ton of people willing to help on the rp aspect! If you are looking to make some new friends/ find rp plot hooks/ get notice about upcoming events and what have you, feel free to check out the friendship fundays that take place on sunday evenings! Events rotate between being A/H/and Neutral places.

We have people that can hand out bags (WRA-H side) too.
