This is for WoW Classic. Looking to see if I can change the tooltip based on what is in my bag. Two specific examples:
Drink Macro:
#showtooltip
/use Conjured Crystal Water
/use Bottled Alterac Spring Water
Rune Macro:
#showtooltip
/use Demonic Rune
/use Dark Rune
Both of these macros do what I want them to (Use Demonic Runes or Conjured water if I have them, use Dark Runes or purchased water if I don’t) but I was wondering if I could get the tooltip to reflect what it is going to do. Right now it’ll show correctly if I have Conjured Water or Demonic Runes in my bag, but if I don’t it just gives the red ? icon.
It’s possible I’m trying to get a macro to make a decision that it is not allowed to, or requires something more robust like an addon, but I’m not quite familiar enough with how that stuff works. Anyone have any advice?
