I’m trying to hit 1800 and don’t really have anyone to play with is it kosher to buy arena carries to 1800 with gold?

Yes, there are several high quality boosting discords out there. If I was in your shoes I’d focus my attention on them and not on individuals who do it out of Trade Chat.
Do you know of any by chance?
Go with Phoenix Community or Starlight Boosting. Both are ran by reputable leadership.
Just get good, 1800 is super beginner accessible and you might have fun along the way.

Not everyone can get 1800 just thought I should let you know.
eh it’s just easier to buy tokens then to “git good”. I used to think the same way then I started boosting M+ and raids which is even easier (and more profitable) than PvP. In the past few weeks since the raids opened I’ve made enough gold to pay for the next year of WoW. Why pay to play the game when whales will do it for me?
This is cope, if they try they can barring disabilities.
Boosting for sub-minimum wage is awful too and makes the community worse 
Hard to get 1800 when you don’t have friends that want to do arenas and LFG won’t take you if you don’t have 1800 xp. I’d rather have a team and grind out some wins but I understand the temptation to boost just to get your foot in the door.
