So here is what I did. I logged in. Went to a server with no toons on it.
Created a new one and when i was finally in game, I turned off all my addons.
Logged out and went to my original server and was able to log on. Do not exit game, just log off and switch realms.
Give it a try. I hope it works.
Also, Blizzard give me a job for doing yours for you.

They already fixed it and people are logging in. They fixed it about a half hour ago and it took awhile for the fix to go out. You shouldn’t need to create a new character or anything, that was more then likely a placebo and you simply were able to log in once the fix went out.
Seems to be, or they seen my post and then figured it out 
Just timing, yeah they fixed while i was experimenting, Good that they were working on it, as this was frustrating af.
