Why not put it to the court of public opinion and allow classic flying in dragon Isles and dragon flying in other areas on the PTR
The devs can then sit back and see if there’s a spike in PTR logins and/or read what people say about it?
Seems like the most discussed/controversial thing about the expansion so far.
Best solution involves two things:
Choice serves player advocacy.
They already said Classic flying was coming at some point. So I’m not sure if checking to see who does and doesn’t use classic flying on the PTR is going to change when they add it to DF.
I hope when that time comes that, in Warmode, the skill “Whirling Surge” dismounts normal fliers as well as how it does with Dragon Riders. The tears of AFKers getting knocked off their mounts and plummeting to their death would be delicious.
One would assume it would be significantly better, given how much slower they will be and how much less predictable their movements will be, given… well… 310% flight speed, with no abilities to control it…
