Out of all of those if they don’t end up making it so we can truly optimize for Raiding/Mythic Plus or each fight in the raid the best choice to me looks to be Venthyr and Nadjia for pure dps. What are your thoughts?

Dancing with Fate: Blade Dance has a 20% chance to apply Essence Break

I will not run Momentum for Shadowlands no matter what. That said I believe the best two legendaries to pair up when we are allowed to run two will be for me [Inner Demons and Chaos Theory] That being said here are our legendaries.

Inner Demons: Chaos Strike has a chance to unleash your inner demon, causing it to crash into your target and deal (136.5% of Attack power) Chaos damage to all nearby enemies.

  • Slot : Shoulder, Feet

Chaos Theory: Blade Dance has a 10% chance to grant you Chaotic Blades, increasing the damage of Chaos Strike by 25% and its chance to refund Fury by an additional 60% for 8 sec.

  • Slot : Waist, Hands

Erratic Fel Core: The cooldown of Fel Rush is reduced by 30%.

  • Slot : *

Fel Bombardment: Immolation Aura’s damage has a chance to grant you a stack of Fel Bombardment, increasing the damage of your next THrow Glaive by 20% and launching an additional glaive at a nearby target. This effect stacks up to 5 times.

  • Slot : Chest, Back

Sigil of the Illidari: Casting Eye Beam / Fel Devastation summons an allied [Vengeance][Havoc] Demon Hunter who casts Eye Beam / Fel Devastation

  • Slot : Wrist, Back

Darkglare Medallion: Eye Beam and Fel Devastation have a 20% chance to not incur its cooldown.

  • Slot : Neck

Darkest Hour: You automatically trigger Darkness when you fall below 35% health. This effect can only occur once every 2 min.

  • Slot : Chest, Legs

Apexis Empowerment: Metamorphosis increases your size, movement speed, and melee range by 100%.

  • Slot : Head, Shoulder

Choices, Right! to many lol…

As far as our Defensive soulbinds go. If I choose Demonic Appetite I think the better choice is Shattered Restoration. An extra 25% healing from those would be nice. If the fight has a lot of Magical damage flying around then Viscous Ink would be noticeable, 15% more magic damage mitigation couldn’t hurt. Now the last one, Fel Defender granting Blur for havoc and Fiery Brand for Vengeance a 40 sec cool down reduction could be look at as OP. We would have 50% uptime on a 50% chance to dodge all incoming damage. I just don’t see a a Covenant tree where the trade offs to the loss of damage is worth it.

I would probably go with this build https://shadowlands.wowhead.com/soulbind-calc/venthyr/nadjia-the-mistblade/demon-hunter/Alr6AgUrkw4VK28OEgUszw4lLR8OIgUq7w4VKvoL Just swaping to the defensive right side at the bottom. However I want to test out Exacting Preparation, 15% additional benefits from Well Fed, Flasks, and Weapon enchant effects. That could be a solid source of damage there.

Have you looked at Felfire Haste and Ravenous Consumption? They both add a modifier to our movement speed after we use Fel Rush. The only difference is that one caps out at 20% and the other one caps out at 30%. From my point of view it seems to be a waste and they need to put in the effort to give Demon Hunters more diversity in out abilities.

I believe Ravenous Consumption is a place holder for something tbh.
