Possible new game to extend the warcraft universe

I have not played wow for awhile.

I have been playing X Com 2 and some other games.

However, I was swimming today and all of a sudden I was thinking about X com 2 and I thought what if a future tactical strategy game like X-com 2. Where you take turns, slowly rise your soldiers ranks up, slowly add new techs and areas say in a base and here and there continue to add upgrades to your soldiers weapons be created but take place in a warcraft world setting?

Any thoughts?

Oh did I.

I never played warcraft 3 or I don’t remember it.

I think in terms of the old games. I played Warcraft (Orcs and humans) when I was very young and Warcraft 2.

Maybe I missed that one.

They could call it Warcraft 1, 2, and 3.

Mind you those weren’t turn based they were real time.

I like XCOM a lot (far more than RTS games), but I don’t feel like reskinning it would improve it.

Baldurs gate II style game for tablets set in wow verse. (Or turn based, more diablo II like tho)
