3/4 of this game is the leveling.

The other 1/4 is PVP and raiding.

The leveling isn’t a timegate to the good content like retail.

How much would you pay for a lvl 60 in greens?

sometimes people on lowbies get made fun of for not having a 60 because we didn’t rush and actually want to enjoy the game. which is too bad. that min max rush to max level thing ruined retails leveling. and now the same is happening in classic.

If they did, that would open pandoras box on all the other in game store type things that have been the downfall of most modern video games. These kinds of in game purchases allow companies to offer a sub par product and make up for lack of revenue from the game itself by offering mounts, costumes, consumables, gold, etc… for the playerbase to purchase. In the past, companies had to insure the product was quality or they wouldn’t make enought money. That is no longer the case unfortunately.

IK about Character Boosts, but I’ve never heard of already maxed out Characters for sale…

Depends from blizzard if they said 100 id pay most def.

you mean pay for a 60 level character or a 60 level character fully geared?

So you’d e willing to pay Blizzard $100 to skip most of the game in addition to paying them to play the game? Would you be okay with paying $150 for all blues?

No meaning max lvl as in lvl 60 in greens.

In 15 years, Blizzard has only had ONE kind of boost. And it was NOT a boost to max-level. That has never been offered.

What was offerred: at the start of a new expansion, every player got one free boost to the starting level of that expansion. That allowed a new player to buy the new expansion and start playing it THE SAME DAY (not after weeks of leveling). A great sales gimmick.

But the boosted player started at the BOTTOM of the expansion, not at max-level. Why would Blizzard ever offer max-level boosts?

90% of the player base would quit if this crap was added to the game.

I don’t think its fair you want something put in the game just because you want something catered to you at the detriment of everyone.

Sure would actually.

I always loved the concept of heirlooms… I wouldnt mind seeing them eventually, or just a flat % xp increase for every 60 you have. Everyone says the game is 1-59 and 60 is just the little bit, but i have found that the most fun was 45-60

IVe lvl’d 3 times back in vanilla. 05/06 and I hated all 3 times lvling. im not a fan of the grind (never was) but now that I don’t have time to play like others do. (who are probably my age or around my age) if it was possible to buy a max lvl toon from blizzard directly like they do in retail. sure id pay even 200

Pretend for the merest moment that Blizzard would take this seriously, and sometime in the future they decide there’s cash to be made and offer a character boost.

  1. You could have maxed multiple characters between now and then.
  2. You’d have a character with starter gear, no reputation with anyone, no gold to buy spells/abilities with, no class-specific quests done so no spells earned from those, no riding skill or mount.

If you want to skip the grind that badly why not just play retail? Seems like it would fit you better than Classic.
