That sucks, Ice Lance is the entire meat of Frost gameplay, at 8 secs that’s basically only one Ice Lance per Frostbite/Frost Nova application

Frost blast is a literal disgrace. That should never have existed. They nerf low rank spells to stop stuff like Rank1 Frost bolt, but the streamers complained so they added a new skill for the tournament. Ridiculous…

Nothing, just mages datamined, also please be aware these are not officially confirmed and might still be changed. From everything they said rogue is slated for some large changes soon, who know when though

I can’t imagine them not reworking rogue (too popular) or paladin holy tree (broken for raid healing)
Ice lance on 8 seconds and no 1.5 sec frost blast makes frost not viable in pvp.

Mages were pretty much last place in the pvp tournament. Even Warrior got further into the brackets.
So maybe those streamer Mages were right that Mages needed something…

Dude ffs its level 30. None of the game has EVER been balanced around level 30. Explain to me how frost mages are bad in pvp at level 60 or literally any iteration of the game
in every iteration of the game they have relied on rank 1 frost bolt or ice lance for pvp
