Possible M+ solution

It is actually kind of funny reading your comment history. You just go from topic to topic spreading negativity - it must be exhausting.

o ya is that wat ur mom told u to say

Haha, ok. Listen dude, just go outside - breath the fresh air, walk around, maybe go to a park and feel the grass on your toes. Being alive is pretty rad, you just gotta let go of what ever is causing you enough pain to spend your time this way. Its not so bad.

Totally! I work a great job (where I dont have to do anything ever) have a beautiful gf and i live in her beautiful house.

Life is pretty good.

So is telling u how it is… u deserve to be taught a lesson. Consider uninstalling the game and going back to FF14

I want to believe you, I really do. I want a good life for most people. In my personal experience people who are living the life you are talking about don’t do what you are doing. There is no reason to “teach people a lesson” if you are ok with yourself.

Why is proposing a change to M+ so threatening to you that you start personally attacking someone?

if i rly told u my life, u wouldn’t believe me. that was me being humble.

I’m not personally attacking you, I’m giving you insight into what your doing. Which is providing terrible ideas. You need to leave our community.

I disagree.

You can keep harassing me to leave if you want.

Okay well ur not welcome here. Bye

Do you actually play M+? What’s your mains name?

Fully aware. I’m just engaging in good faith, clearly they don’t know how to deal - they’ve resorted to “your mom” jokes lol. I’m actually fully convinced this person might be a teenager.

Honestly like the idea of providing buffs through correct mechanics.

Right, the lower affixes could be rotating “this mechanic matters” buffs to teach behavior and in the higher keys they get more interesting.

not that I think it’s a bad idea at all. my first area of concern would be how many abilities are not needed at the same quantity across all dungeons.

one dungeon may need interrupts more.

one may need dispell more. etc

the current system allows for a way to ensure all dungeons have the same amount of impact from the affix and the kiss/curse.

The benefit/buff is making your healer’s job easier, making the run go smoother, more score, more loot (welfare chest at end). The curse is not doing the mechanics and making the run miserable for everyone, disbanding, re-queing and hoping for a better group of individuals next go-around.

That already happens in high M+ keys. Introducing the mechanics early and incentivizing doing them is important to teaching expectations.

This problem already exists, the affixes we currently have are not teaching people to play the basics better, they are just making the basics harder with an additional mechanic. Making early keys easier and more rewarding with base mechanic kiss/curses would be better for teaching players imo.

You know what else helps them learn? Several rounds of M0 before jumping into M+2s to keep learning. Wanna know what does not help them learn? Getting their ilvl high enough to be carried in +8 or higher without never learning the mechanics.
