Tell me whom of them all is your own favorite?
Hozen would be hilarious to see, and I would roll one.
My own picks would be fel Orcs and forest trolls.
I’d 100% play a Sethrak or Drakonid.
My favorites on this list are Ogres, Forest Trolls, and Taunka. Though I like most of the races on this list.
How are the Centaur amongst the greatest chances to become real? They have four legs and would require alot of work, that I’m unsure Blizzard would want to do.
Hozen/Jinyu and Ethereals/ogres are my favorite races that I wish were added. Let’s see what will be added in the future maybe Forest Trolls if the Amani ever become friendly to the Horde that would be interesting!
0% Chance:
Centaurs aren’t happening. They’re not going to implement a race that cannot ride mounts. There are hacky workarounds to this but they all involve compromises that Blizzard won’t make. Any race that can’t fit neatly into a saddle is a no-go.
~1% Chance:
Gnolls have never been relevant to anything. They’re a race that exists to be killed for loot by level 10 noobs.
~5-10% Chance:
Sethrak, Drakonids, Hozen and Mogu are all wildly unlikely because they have complicated models and their time has passed. They were relevant for one expansion and that expansion is over - revisiting them after-the-fact would be really out of character for Blizz.
~20% Chance
Taunka have most of the problems of the above group, but we know for a fact that we’re revisiting Northrend two expansions from now, so who knows?
I’d put Ogres here too: their time has definitely come and gone, but they’re such a core part of the “Horde” idea that I don’t think they’re ever fully out of the running.
~30-50% Chance:
Fel Orcs, Forest Trolls and Kelfin have the benefit that they could pretty easily be implemented as nothing more than a skin color. It’s easy to imagine them going for this kind of low-effort addition, similar to dead Elves and red Draenei. It costs them almost nothing.
I want ( = I would like it so much, = I would like it) :
Not sure if it will happen :
While I hope for a better future for the Amani, Horde does have an avenue with playable Forest Trolls with the Revantusk tribe.
I could see Fel Orcs becoming a customization option and, in light of the Darkfallen and Man’ari, do wonder if the Kelfin will just become a customization. However I don’t see the Forest Trolls following suit. While the Darkspear male and Forest Troll female models are the same, the male models are different… the Darkspear being lean, with the Forest Troll being bulky.
It is weird that we haven’t got the Dragonmaw skin.
Becuase Baine build a solid relationship to them and they seem friendly for the Horde now.
I know it’s a long shot but I want those bipedal Nerubian Ascendants.
Figure you could have the Forsaken and Rendorei team up to free them from Xalatath’s control, with them joining the Horde or Alliance in thanks as a result.
Them being playable wouldn’t surprise me. But then I found us getting bipedal Nerubian suspect from the beginning.
The only acceptable answer is Tuskarr.
All I know for the next expansion is that I want a bunch of faction related allied races instead of the neutral races we have been getting.
In an Alliance v Horde match up I would like
High Elf v Amani
Broken v “Dark” Elf (Collection of “edgy” blood elves such as San’layn and Fel Blood)
Ogres are great too.
Ogre warrior smash. Sign me up.
two headed ogre mage fan here.
I think Fel orc makes more sense as a customization.
Ethereal have a high chance if we ever do a space/cosmic void expansion
