Possible future faction war?

Am I the only one who thinks that the end of the undermine story where Gazlowe is talking to Shaw is hinting at a future faction conflict?

I don’t think that whole exchange is signifying anything. Shaw may ask Gazlowe to make Flynn a nice gift or something as far as we know.

I sure hope there isn’t a faction war for a good, long while. And if there is a proper one I hope it makes some lick of sense for it to happen instead of folks just killing each other for trivial reasons, only to forget about it and unite against the big bad for the umphteenth time.

Please, no. BfA is there if anyone wants a faction war. Go play that again. See how great the war was.

nah, the faction war unfortunately is a relic of the past.
Faction conflict was cool back in the early 2010s when no one else was doing it. But anymore faction conflicts hurt the story more then they help.

why are y’all so desparate to Siege Orgrimmar for a third time?

leave Faction War in the past where it belongs.

let the Horde exists on its own for something more than just the Alliance players having a villain to fight.

there are plenty of other villains worth fighting.

If Pandaren are gonna rise up, we should be allowed to raze both SW and Org.

…But my horde monk would also totally be fine with just taking SW. :dracthyr_blob_dance_animated:

and for the record, no, nothing in that conversation suggests a Faction Conflict.

if anything it suggests more of a “get me in a room with insert Horde Leaders so we can talk on the low” sorta deal.

I hope so. I miss when the factions hated each other.

Nothing after Legion is canon, except for Kul Tiran humans and the events of Drustvar.

Fourth War sucked, we dont need another poorly-written faction war, please.

I liked DF, how dare you. :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

how is two people being friends hinting at them killing each other? either your’re trolling or you have some serious issues if you think friendship means war

I was just discussing this with a friend that I think we’ve run the whole “faction war” idea into the ground. I don’t think we will (or should) see another major faction war. Realistically, the Alliance and Horde have banded together to defeat “big bad whatever” for like two decades now, and then go right back to fighting each other. It really makes no sense.

If we are going to see anything resembling a faction war, I think it is going to be on a much smaller scale. Fringe ideologues from the Horde or Alliance who refuse to coexist with the other side. But even with the World Soul Saga, that seems way to small of an idea to really have any traction.

I think after the World Soul Saga, we are going to end up facing old gods and/or titans. With what I am assuming will the the full introduction to the void realm, this will open up other avenues to explore too, such as various other void lords we have never heard of, ones we have heard of, or other factions trying to influence Azeroth now that the veil has been breached.

Guess all the war we’re currently doing doesn’t count cuz we’re not killing horde?

No, in fact it screams the opposite.
