Possible Chat Frame Bug

When typing in the chat frame, clicking anywhere on the screen takes me out of the chat window.

Example:
I’m typing “Tomatoes are in the nightshade family”. If, after I hit the spacebar after “the” and then start mouse steering while typing, my N, I, G, etc hotkeys are triggered and I’m no longer actively typing in the chat box.

I don’t recall this happening prior to 8.3, and it’s really extra obnoxious.

Edit; Yes, this happens when all of my addons disabled.

Ok good. So I’m not the only one who noticed this. Well this is going to be annoying until it gets fixed…

I’ve had others test it in game, and it seems to be happening for a lot of players. One player suggested this was intended and an undocumented change, but I’m hoping for some kind of confirmation either way.

And if it is intended, someone, for the love of all things holy, better make an addon to revert this @_@
