Any other mages unable to click the Portal/Teleport buttons when they are on your action bar? I tried reloading and turning off all addons and nothing has fixed it.

Not a mage, but I’ve noticed that a lot of my addons are doing things that break my action bars and inventory. Absent of any other information, I suspect it’s the same issue you’re having. Are you using addons?

I had the same issue with Call Pet and Pet Utility where they wound only expand in the spellbook. I had to disable ELVUI to use them on the action bar.

Many times i’ll click my hearthstone and it’ll throw up an error, but if i move it to a hotbar then click it, it’ll then work.
I suspect once all my addons have been updated, the amount of lua and UI errors’ll have hopefully decreased as well as Blizzard’s under-the-hood hotfixes that we can have some semblance of a game back!

I had the same issue at first. Then I removed the portal and teleport buttons from my action bar and then put them back from the spell book.
problem solved.
I’ve had no issues.
i use a bunch of addons, but ive tried turning them all off and it still hasnt worked, ive also tried removing them from my bars and putting them back from the spell book and that didnt work either, so the only pay i can port/teleport is from my spell book right now

Had this glitch when I was using bartender. Had to disable it.
Yeah just from asking around it seems to be common with most of the popular UI/action bar replacements currently. So ELVUI/Bartender/etc.

I had mine scroll out to the right side (aka off screen) instead of the left…kinda weird.

I’m getting a lot of addon hiccups despite updates, so it might be that.
I’m using ElvUI and on my mage, I can’t click the button my bars that ordinarily shows all my portal spells because it’ll throw a LUA error instead of working properly; instead I have to open my spellbook

I thought to try this and tried twice and still no worky 
I can use them both from spell book though.

Mine works and I don’t use any third party addons and I use the games UI

Workaround for now: drag each individual portal icon from spellbook to a bar. Select only most used ones.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it but it didn’t work. What action bar did you put it on? I tried it on like action bar 5 or 6 and no bueno.

- There is a known issue with spell flyouts not working with action bar addons. This is something Blizzard needs to fix.
Sounds like this change might be impacting any add-on’s that make calls to action bar buttons with fly-outs (from github Nevcairiel/Bartender4/issues/92):
- Blizzard broke flyout buttons for addons. Unfortunately there is nothing to do until they fix it.
They submitted a retail bug, but no guarantees it gets fixed anytime soon. Folks may want to look for add-ons that do their own flyout rendering (Opie does that)

It’s really frustrating because I use dominoes since blizz refuses to get me use binding like shift left mouse or shift scroll down which I’ve used for years. I really hope its fixed soon so I can play my hunter/warlock.
Mine was also due to Bartender. I disabled it and am now able to use the portal buttons from the action bar.
