This will help the lag issues in high/full pop servers.
They need to add 4 more tables to each site too.
Hopefully everyone who participates are able to get everything before the event week is over.

I think we should all know by now, since it’s been this way F O R E V E R, that commenting on, nit picking, criticizing, praising, or doing anything with regards to these events within the first few hours/first day or two of launch, is simply moot.
Whatever event these things start as rarely survives first contact 100%, so whatever is happening right now is not the way the event proceeds forward.
It gets patched, it gets fixed, buffed, nerfed, people stop showing up, etc.
It’s a day one “world event”, and they’re always chaos.
The Goblin event worked out fine in the end, I see this one as no different.
One of the first issues I had with the event, before seeing how buggy it was, is that it’s only a one-week event where Blizz just announced an 8-hour extended maintenance in that one week. I really think that it should be extended another week, and I also think the portals should all go up on the hour, at all locations.

That would skew participation to the higher level neutral area. That would probably leave lower level players unable to participate especially on lower pop servers.

I disagree. I think it encourages people who may want that bag on alts to also bring their low level alts to keep farming throughout the event.

14 years and no buff for people who have tons of alts killing crown chemical co. for the love rocket already proved to me they don’t value our time at all. lol

These kinds of changes won’t happen naturally without these kinds of critical feedback. Potentially, they would, but this type of feedback can aid in this process faster.
What also aids in this process is something they keep not doing under the guise of “We know what we’re doing, we just want to surprise you.” by not doing extensive testing.
They either need to accept that broader testing has its drawbacks of “Everything is known” or implement testing that is under an NDA. While yes, Wowhead writers will most likely still develop their articles… they just won’t post them until day one and the event will even then we changed moderately. Instead of events being universally known and broken down before the event even launches.
This would have saved the “Love is in the Air event” potentially, and could have provided much needed feedback on this event to make this “day 1 contact” much less of what it currently is.

I’m so confused at how these portals are supposed to work.
Valdrakken spawned at 4:00, but then Stormwind spawned at 4:15.

I was able to do Valdrakken and then 4 different Stormwind Portals since 4pm PST.
It feels like SW pops every hour and then it alternates between Valdrakken and Org.

This examplifies how buggy this event truly is.
Is the event timline every hour? Or every 15 minutes? Or everytime I transfer shards?
No information given from Blizzard on this event at all. Leaving players in the dark entirely. Why? This isn’t fun gameplay. This isn’t season of discovery. This literally isn’t rocket science.
After the last event, and this one… My hopes for whatever 10.2.6 is going to be… is literally dashed. Especially given their “we will not test it.” mentality.
And based off what they just posted… Tomorrow is a bust. And probably Wednesday.

My favorite thing is sitting in the right zone but because of sharding, or whatever they call that mess, you can’t participate.
Oh well it’s just Blizz thinks wasting players time again, not that I had anything else to do but sitting around waiting for things that won’t happen is something that seems to be acceptable these days.
Also have they addressed this or just silence as usual?

And just attempted to do this event on my Hordde character on the Stormwind spawn. and got ganked by the entire alliance side right as the portal ticked “10 seconds”. Leaving me the 3 minute walk back right before the boss spawns.
Whomever designed this to be inside Stormwind, needs to seriously not work on events like this ever again.

There are portals? I got quest in mail and since I was in garrison, I just went there the old fashioned way.

Who ever made this event has brain damage honestly because not only is it random. In a terrible spot for horde players if its in SW. WE HAVE MAINTENANCE TOMORROW for 8 hours or MORE so its another day down.
This event is basically gonna be 3 days and gone forever because they never tested it and released it at a bad time. How are you gonna celebrate it by making everyone angry?

Sorry its called being ready and having at least one character on the other side…I use to only play Alliance all the time but then came changes where pets…mounts and toys were being only offered on one side or another but could be used by both sides…so I made some Horde toons too…its called Cover your behind fully…
