This shouldn’t be the expected behaviour, or encouraged… but it definitely feels like this is the intention.
I want to play on my main character for events, not be bouncing between alts hoping I’m at the right location.

Me too I want to be able to use my main for big events like this…thankfully the achive are all shared with your account but still I like to get those on my main only.

They probably figured Alliance Players are the ones who use Hearthstone.

So of the portals so far today, I missed one because it started to spawn in Valdrakeen and then just didn’t. Missed the next one because it was in SW and I was in Valdrakken and there was no way to know (also apparently spawned at Org the same time). Then I finally got the next one in Valdrakken. So I figured the next one had to be Org so I waited there. It almost hit the hour and nothing so I jumped over to my SW alt and the boss was already there. Got a tag just as it died. This was like three minutes before the hour. Checked back to Valdrakken and Org on that hour and nothing. And what did I get out of the two bosses I was lucky enough to be there for? Two wild cards.
So, to sum up, the spawns were in the order Valdrakken but it failed, SW and Org at the same time, Valdrakken, SW about ten minutes early, missed the last one due to real life so I don’t know. Doesn’t seem to be any pattern or even consistent spawn times and we’re supposed to just know where to be. It’s a week long and the drop rates suck.
This event SUCKS. How does this even happen? What does it say about what TWW is gonna be like?

Nope. It was just something they threw together for PR. It’s why they’ve haven’t done anything with it since, until they recently decided to rotate some new people in.

This event is a disaster much like all the other introduced events during Dragonflight with the one exception being the archives. I don’t understand why they thought this was a good idea with all the things that have been happening with every other event. How did you not learn from your mistakes. 3 TIMES. The single hearthstone board… even an idiot could have seen that was going to be an issue. The portals near major character afk points… same thing.
I feel like hearthstone boards should have been in every inn across all content. Go to an inn and play, earn cards to build your in game deck for achievements. The spawned boss that should have been instanced content like Love is in the Air for the love rocket mount.
I can only hope they fix this monumental issue in some fashion by the time the maintenance is over tomorrow. The event only lasts a week and therefore the chances of getting any loot are dwindling as we speak. At this point my faith in the capability of the devs is extremely low in producing any content going forward being successful. Seems like all the people who made the game function properly without having to get an auto response from a computer using chatgpt for help when it should be a Game Master. I’m hoping Microsoft starts kicking some butts into gear.

If they don’t fix this event in any meaningful way tomorrow, they better extend its timeline within the world. or come out publicly stating that you can gain the items that are going on in this event by other in game means after the event ends (NOT THE TRADING POST OR REAL MONEY).

Spawned about 5 times in SW twice in valdrakken and org. Each time is spawns in org and is tagged I’ve not been able to loot it. The event is a hot mess and clearly was never tested on horde side much like the love is in the air event when day 1 horde couldn’t see daily quest unlock npc. Tomorrow isn’t looking good for the limited time event either.

Right? All I want is that disk mount and I’m willing to put in the time farming the boss, but they don’t even make it so you can know when the or where the boss will spawn! From what I’ve seen so far to day, there’s no order to it and it doesn’t even always spawn on the hour. This is just trash. I almost think any of us, with or without any game design experience, could have done a better job of this.

yup, it eats one of my conflagrate casts but then sits there as if I didn’t cast, he sits there for a minute or so at full hp, then drops to 6% and dead a fraction of a second later. No ability to loot it in org. Game is bunz.

Who designed the event to be RNG drops when it only lasts for 7 days?
They told us they acknowledge Arfus felt bad for pet collectors who didn’t get it, but did this with both a mount and a pet.
And unlike Arfus, these pet/mount will likely never return.

If only the bag was BoA, I’d send it over from my dracthyr. It needs to be fixed, not find workarounds that make me miss out on drops.

I sadly think this would expand on the “badness” of this event. As this would encourage and emphasize that alts are “required” for this event.
And would provide blizzard with metrics of said alt play, and because they go off numbers and not actual feedback… the numbers will state “Players love alt game play for these types of events.”

Yeah, they need to start popping into the live servers when they drop these things, and not just hang out alliance side for a bit and bounce, I mean like both factions play through with everyone and see what everyone else is seeing at the same time.
And then, even moreso, communicate immediately on their forums/x or whatever to let everyone know they see what we see and are going to fix it.

It would be better if they added a vendor that lets you buy the bag on other characters if you’ve had it drop.
