Does anybody know how to gain access to the portal to Valdrakken from the storm wind mage tower?
I think I skipped a quest But I don’t know which one it is.
I can’t figure it out.
If it’s your first character, you’ll need to progress through the main campaign until you get to the Valdrakken part.
If you’ve already unlocked adventure mode and are trying to get the portal open on an alt, then I believe you just need to do the first few quests after you get off the boat (where you’re killing protodrakes and rescuing expedition members) up to where they lead you to the scouting map. So, head to the ship’s landing area and look for quests there.
Valdrakken portal doesn’t open until the toon is at least level 56, but then you might get… stuck in Valdrakken because the portal in valdrakken that leads back doesn’t unlock until level 58… i found this out the hard way x.x. It’s best to level the toon to at least… 58 (or whatever the level is to start the dragonflight expansion with wrathion) and go from there. You’ll save yourself the headache and confusion then.
