Portal to Stonard

Was running Kara the other night to farm some enchanting formulas and for the life of me couldn’t find the portal to Stonard.

There was one at one point, wasn’t there?

For mages? Yes.

You can also do the kara questline for the kara port ring.

I know they get one, but I could have sworn there was a static portal somewhere. Maybe my memory is finally betraying me.

I’m not aware of a static port to stonard. There’s one to STV but I forget how to access it.

I don’t recall one being in game other than the one for mages. It’s also my favorite to troll people with. The Ancient Dalaran one is obvious, very few people expect to randomly portal to Stonard.

just go to val and a mage will most likely give you one.

I’m of no help here, I haven’t played Horde since Wrath but I have a vague recollection of there being a portal to random location like that. Try the classic forums.

Yes, sort of, it was to the blasted lands near Dark portal which is very close to Stonard. It’s still there but to get to it you talk to the mage who is standing next to the shattrath portal downstairs in Org. You ask him to teleport you to the Dark Portal. I think it’s “Thrallmar Mage”. There is still an actual portal to the dark portal in Undercity and I presume Ironforge.

It exists, I use it all the time.

Gotta be a horde mage though. Alliance get Theramore.

I remember a static portal to Stonard and I think it was in the underground section of Orgrimmar or maybe even in the Legion Dalaran area. I also think it was put up around the time of the return to Kara dungeon in Legion. I went looking for it today and it’s not there like I remember, so I guess they took it away cause there used to be all kinds of portals for the sake of doing certain dungeons just like they do now

There was never a static Stonard portal. The Zeppelin to Stranglethorn will drop you off a short flight away.
