Level 70 toon, Level 50 Heart of Azeroth. I’m definitely far enough in the campaign. And I used to have the portal. But now? No portal.
You may need to talk to Zidormi in order to change the zone into the present timeline.

The portal was there last week. Talking to Zidormi should not affect the portal from Boralus to Silithus, just where you get dumped when you take it. Unless that is yet another undocumented feature of the latest patch? Blizzard reused the Chamber of the Heart for TWW pre-patch - did that break the portals in the BfA capital cities because they changed the xpac of the Silithus zone? “Let’s send everyone to a place where we gave them a nice, easy portal - and then take away the portal!”
But it does. Look at the support article I linked, this has been the reason for the portal to disappear for quite a couple of years.
If you still can’t see the portal, you may need to speak to Zidormi to change the phase in Silithus to the current timeline.
Except that the issue started with the patch this week. The portal has been there for weeks without issue, without talking to Zidormi - until this patch dropped. Which means that something about the patch changed it. Prior to this week, even when you changed Zidormi to the past, the portal would still be in Boralus, but you would come out at Zidormi’s location to change to the BfA timeline instead of right outside the Chamber of the Heart.
So, if I go to Silithus, with the new The War Within quest in my log, I find that the portal back to Boralus is not there, because the area is now phased to TWW. After entering the Chamber of the Heart, the ONLY exit you are left with is the portal to Dalaran - you are not allowed to go back outside to where the BfA portals were located. When I complete the questline in Dalaran, then return to Boralus, the Silithus portal is restored, and I can travel back and forth between Boralus and Silithus again.
All that implies that every toon that was given the quest The War Within will have to finish it (or perhaps abandon it?) in order to restore the Silithus portals from the BfA portal rooms. And that’s really not alt-friendly, because I shouldn’t have to do this questline more than once! But that makes this a new phasing issue, and not related to the article referenced.
UPDATE: Abandoning the quest doesn’t work - the next login, The War Within quest is automatically added back to your quest log.

The fact that an auto-quest changes your phasing of Silithus such that it breaks the Boralus portal is absolutely insane.
How do you even begin to try and explain this to someone who isn’t a veteran of the game?
Phasing is such an unmitigated disaster. I wish they’d just remove it from the game entirely.
I do not care that Thrall would be in the throne room when he’s supposedly dead. I do not care at all.

If going through Boralas, you have to be set for the current time and not pre-sword. I know, because in prep of event I tried to get there and there wasnt a portal in Boralus. But once I took the long way to silithis and talked to her, the portal returned.
If that is not your issue and when you go to Silithis and the sword is there, than not sure what the issue could possibly be. I sent 7 characters through there with the scroll without issue

I am having the same issue. Logged in and the portal is Boralus ins’t there.

BFA and its storyline need to shoved into the ocean and a portal opened in sw, period. I respect my own time, which is why I want a portal to Silithus lol.
