Yeah on Nightslayer Horde has been locked since launch. They’re clearly aware of the amount of people sitting in character creation refusing to roll Alliance.

Because then servers die.

They need more servers for those who are unwilling to play the opposite faction. I actually tried rolling Horde, but seems I’m going to Alliance, which isn’t a bad thing, I alwasy wanted a dwarf warior anyways.
Faction balance is a very good thing thouhg, nothing ruins a server faster than a faction imbalance.

Issue there is it compounds the problem.
Now you get 2 of them. I feel bad for the say 2000 horde who can’t make them.
Blizzard adds one for arguments sake.
now its 2 servers maxed horde. And that won’t change. If the alliance is not flooding the 1 server now, they can’t fill out 2 of them either.
and thus we have…cata whitemane and faerlina again. they were 70% long ago. then 80, and 90%+ by even tbcc.

which is strange, because Alliance seem to have more of a cohesive world pvp, I’ve seen more alliance pvp gank groups rolling through zones or farming towns than Horde by a big percentage.
For some they may be going dude I am alliance in cata, lets switch it up. Why I go horde here. And for blood elf to come.
I have my alliance alliance at home (cata). I Even went undead since I"ve never really rolled that even in retail.
PVE side, I am not taking anyone’s pvp slot lol.
