Gpie needs a short CD imo.
I feel bad for anyone having to face Fire/Destro/Hpal in 3’s. God help us all.
Remove gpyro since they can still force a kill with combust.

It’s wild there’s quite a few mages who don’t really even seem to run gpie and do quite well. Ceralium never runs it, when Raiku plays fire or Wealthman does I usually just see them go firestarter, I know for a while Maro/Blizo were going without gpie until people started training the war and they wanted more counterpressure. Combust is just such a strong CD imo.
Then again, I hate a lot about gpie but I also appreciate having win conditions that aren’t just CDs being popped (i.e. getting long casts off being a different win condition). I just don’t like the idea of gpie getting kicked and being able to immediately shift to poly. It feels like you face comps that either pass the interrupt check and tunnel you down or don’t and just immediately lose. I do think blazing barrier getting hit with a 40% nerf will help though. Mages just sitting there and tanking damage doing gpie/poly/gpie back and forth might actually die now.

sit the mage. Run when lock pops his Infernals/Darksouls. Outside of those CDs you just need to kick Gpys. You can legit ignore the lock’s bolts, they hit for like 40k. Yea, don’t stand in Fel Fissure.
With the big barrier nerf mages will be punished pretty hard for not kiting or playing defensively properly.
Not like any of this matters, just play with a WW after Tuesday and just blow everyone up.

I think the answer to this is buff Monks more. Can’t kill anyone with Gpys/CBs if they’re getting a 1 mill Life Cocoon every 10 seconds!
