Confirmed as of this patch that this achievement is not solo-able. So far, ALL of the other achievements required for Glory of the Legion, I’ve been able to do by myself. The issue is Wandering Soul https://www.wowhead.com/spell=213404/wandering-soul does not proceed to the next buffs (Lost Soul, Damned Soul, Poor Unfortunate Soul).
If blizzard could just make the original buff progress on a solo person, this wouldn’t be an issue. The problem is, no one is queueing for these in LFG and no one in my guild wants to come running here to help someone else get an achievement. The bigger problem, is Glory of the Legion is a requirement for certain tints for artifact weapons.
If anyone is down to help me with this, my battle tag is MamaBear#11590 on alliance.
Otherwise, let’s hope Blizzard hears our pleas and makes this doable solo?

I’m having the same sort of problem with Operation: Mechagon - The Mechoriginator. It’s damn near impossible to solo, even at 60 because of timer mechanics, but it’s impossible to get a group for too.

Have you checked the comments on Wowhead? Looks like there are recent comments of people who were able to solo it. Could also maybe see if someone there is willing to help join it and help you complete it.

I am right there with you! I have been working on The Glory of the Legion Hero and am now stuck at Poor Unfortunate Souls and I Got what you Mead. My battle tag is
HoneyBadger#13330, I would be down to complete this with you if we can find some other folks!
I will add you, I hear there are LFG posts where others look for achievements like this so I have hope!

This achievement, and two of the HoV achievements bugging out are why I quit trying for Glory during actual Legion. Even back then it required specific classes to keep the soul CC’d long enough.
The only HoV achievement I couldn’t get was “I got what you mead” and that’s because it forced you to have a full group, the mugs have to be thrown at the same time otherwise the ‘buff’ disappears and you can’t travel back and forth to do them all in time. However, I was able to complete the other two, if you need any help/advice on how to complete them. I mostly followed the comments on wowhead, but am happy to help!
I can’t imagine trying to complete some of these during the live content, honestly.
Sorry to Bump such an Old Thread. Poor Unfortunate Souls and I got What you Mead need to be Solo-able. This game is kinda in a drought, content this old needs to be able to be done solo. Especially for ppl sticking around waiting for DF.

This needs to be solo-able along with I Got What You Mead. People are not forming groups for these anymore; once this content becomes legacy, any group requirements need to be removed, plain and simple.

IMO old content must be soloable, even the non-meta-achievements. I am opening my easyarmory page and decide to do some old content and boom it says you need 5 ppl; you need a specific class. Then I alt-f4. it is ridiculous.
