You heard correctly, the only problem with mistweavers was renewing mists costing 50 mana too much!

Yulon CD broke competitive mistweaver imo. They cant buff MW because raid teams are stacking 2 druids innervates on their MWs to pump out 40k mana during yulons and doing great healing. Like if you have innervate you can almost double your HPS with Yulons or spamming EV. But without innervate…if you try to get that throughput you will go oom 2m in the fight.
If the buffed throughput or mana too much, the monks already succeeding with being innervate stacked would go through the roof in raid. Imo Yulon needs to be removed. It’s toxic that I have a CD I need external class mechanics to use properly.
AOTM is a viable playstyle but it’s harder for less throughput so why? and with fistweaving in this half-baked form, it’s not really fun either especially if you liked the original fistweaving.

That’s the same as disc. Without innervates, i dont have the mana to maximize my throughput with spot healing and a mini ramp between SS windows.
Uh, i saw a MW in ilvl 160 gear time a mythic+15. MW is fine, dont blame the tools when it’s human error.

If you have evidence of that claim, please for the love of god back me up on this one. I’m not even bothering to level my monk to cap because I heard how absolute gunk MW is from every guildmate, M+ pug runner, and mistweaver I’ve come across.

…This looks like a hard carry. The monk has zero other runs, doesn’t even have a legendary, and is reknown level 4 (lol).
They also do have a record of being in top 10 mistweaver monks for M+ in past seasons too though, and not as a carry.
This is extremely irregular no matter which way you slice it, and having a group of people in mythic ilv gear is absolutely going to smash a +15.

here you go. this is no carry. look at how good MW can pump heals in 160 gear.
i mean, you can make excuses, or you can read what you said and realize that a skilled mistweaver in ilvl 160 gear with no legendary and almost no covenant bonuses can put out massive healing in a mythic+15 timed under 6 minutes and pulling their weight.
bruh the paladin literally out overall healed him. He healed himself more than the MW healed 5 people. On top of that, they barely took damage throughout the run and every time they did the pally spiked to like 6-8k hps.
If I had a tank that could heal 8k hps when ever he was in trouble, I could heal any key at any ilvl too.

Fine, It can clear +15.
Doesn’t mean other healers are worse. The wanted buff isn’t viability, It’s about competition with other healers.
I bet If he played Shaman in +15 in 160 gear, It would do better.
you sound new and inexperienced. prot pally always heals a lot. you’d have to be blind or refuse to watch the video to not see MW healing skyrocket throughout the run. But hey, you were already wrong about it being a paid carry, why not continue that trend, right?.
Prot pallies heal alot…yes. They dont outheal me…and they never have to do 8k to finish the key…and yes, his healing spikes when he uses all 3 of his RAID CDS…that’s how healing works. Correct.

I’m watching the clip. Monk was hard carried, and their overgeared paladin tank was keeping the group alive with spot healing. The numbers the DPS are pulling is also insanely strong, so things like pride aoe ramp up didn’t even matter.
So like I said. It’s an irregularity. This isn’t evidence at all that monks are good healers, just that the rest of the group was overgeared and played around the monk’s ilv. Zero doubt in my mind the monk is extremely talented, as their track record shows. Monk even mentions going oom often, which is such a huge hinderance for normal groups who can’t kill nearly as fast.
