ever since dragonflight dropped i’ve been experiencing framerate spikes/drops and lag spikes especially in arena’s and battleground’s sometimes to the point were the game will lag for a few seconds and then catch back up within 3-5 seconds…it’s caused quite a bit of issues for me and i’ve tried just about everything from reinstalling the game and all of my addons one by one to completely reseting my pc.
my current specs are
Gpu:2080ti
Cpu:i9-9900k
Ram:32gb
Lag and latency are more about your internet connection than your machine specs.
Can you post winmtr results?
Framerate spiking/stuttering issues since DF are probably related to this: Massive stutters with DF client - #1811 by Zadley-proudmoore and there is no fix.
Lag spikes where the network latency causes your character to become unresponsive is a different issue and could be your own network/ISP.
