But we almost never have a need or chance to use it in dungeons. And Polymorph, when used in PVP, apparently means “ATTACK SHEEP IMMEDIATELY”.

I remember when we had the time for sheep.

I think time got squished, 5 minutes is gone in seconds it seems.

Or it feels that way sometimes.

I think you might find Classic more to your liking, if you want more sheep in your game.

I run around open world and hit mass polymorph. It makes me giggle.

I’ve played plenty of Classic and I like it well enough. Sheeps are still king there no doubt. But I’ve learned to live in Retail -sheep, it’s just a bit disappointing we don’t really have any need for /cast polymorph anymore.

Isn’t polymorph also the spell with the most choices for customization?

You can poly into so many critters now, verses just sheep.

Yep, I have all the variants that I’ve been collecting since BC. It’s fun to have all those options.

Turtle
Pig
Cat
Monkey
Bee
Rabbit

What’s interesting about Turtle is that it has different skin colors. It doesn’t always have the same skin. So I’ve been in plenty of raids where we’ve had 2 poly’d turtles of different colors.

This right here drives me nuts. I’ll sit on a healer with sheep, interrupts, and freezes fully expecting the rest of my team to wipe out the rest of theirs. They never do it. Every damn time, they absolutely must tunnel that sheep.

When levelling solo is the only time I really use it anymore.

I got a lot of mileage out of it in delves. I like the bee.

All I’m missing is turtle. I don’t want to fish.

Next patch poly will have a damage threshold to break. So it won’t just be getting immediately broken by splinters other tiny damage, uncontrollable aoe flying around. Maybe it will be slightly more useful.

Poly still has its uses, though theyre rare. Love it for mist caller.

Turtle is the only one I have, and I don’t fish…

How is it the only one you have? You can go to a room in Dornogal and get poly Mosswool right now. Just go up to that tunnel that’s by the goblin zepplin to Siren Isle.

Turtle is from Cataclysm fishing pools. You can buy it on the AH.

Been trying to find the Turtle Polymorph. No luck so far. It’s currently my new white whale.

I will randomly poly in a delve, but thats about it these days. It does make for a handy interrupt if everything else is on CD

I dont have the turtle, but I do have the bear cub and the mosswool (which is just another type of sheep)

Just checked the AH for the turtle, no go. There is a duck and porcupine though! When did those get added?
