Quick question-So apparently polymorph cow is a thing… Does anyone know where my mage can get this? I never knew it existed until 5 minutes ago and wowhead is not telling me how. Thanks in advance! Must make everything a cow!

Was just doing the love dungeon and one of the bosses was turned into a cow. Maybe I was seeing things. 
TBF I don’t even know if we had a mage with us,been running the dungeon on alts for the past hour.I’m assuming it is polymorph cow though.

Sounds like you have a problem seeing cows everywhere, since there are none here. Wanna talk about it, Im here for you.
There are a few npc only poly’s cow,squirrel, and a few others are not available to my knowledge.
There are a metric ton of spells that are technically in the game, but aren’t trainable in any way. Some are experimental things that never got removed, others leftovers from scrapped alpha/beta abilities, and some for development/testing usage. A bunch are also just boss abilities (on a technical level, their abilities are no different than ours). I suspect that Polymorph: Cow is one of those.
Point in case, there’s a [Light Torch] ability that takes an [Unlit Poor Torch] and lights it to produce a [Dim Torch], all of which was part of a Survival secondary profession that was scrapped during the original game’s alpha. All of those have remained in the game’s data files for over a decade despite being unavailable.
